It shouldn’t, but if that is a live website, I’d strongly advise against making experiments on it.

You should have a staging website where this kind of tests are done.

only the listings author and the site admin can edit the listing.

There is no built in system to allow anyone to suggest missing information.

You could probably achieve that with an extra contact form, something like: https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/

no that is not possible. You can only search one CPT at a time.

The regular WP search widget will let you search all CPT at once (including pages and posts), but you can’t filter that search by location.

no that’s not possible, each listing can only have 1 address and map.

You can use the franchising add-on to easily create multiple listings for business with more than one address/location.
