In that case you are looking into the wrong docs.
Please see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/
This I fear would require a customization that at the moment we can’t provide.
Thanks

Thank you
Are you using v1?
This would be a lot easier if you used V2.
Let us know.
HI,
please provide a link and admin credentials and we’ll have a look.
Thank you
Hi Tim,
sorry for the delay. The developers are looking into this and we’ll get back to you as soon as they find the issue.
We can’t replicate it in our tests.
Thanks for your patience.
Near me option uses HTML5 geolocation (browser based) its not reliant on Google, only the near a location search requires a 3rd party API which can be either Google or OSM.
For Near ME if the geolocation fails or is not supported by the browser in GDv2 we show a map in a lightbox where the user can set their location manually
Thanks

It is possible, but it requires some custom code.
You should be able to find help for that here: http://geodirectoryexperts.com/
Thanks
I’m not sure I understand what you mean? Please explain with an example.
it should be /events/, but it can be translated. The CPT name instead is gd_event.
Thanks
A customization is needed for that and we don’t provide support for customization. Here you can ind freelancers for hire to help you out with similar things: http://geodirectoryexperts.com/
Thanks
FYI, you should really use the widgets with Beaver Builder, not the shortcodes. We show it in our latest video about customization and the page builder
