Hi,
the location that you are setting is for the search form only. It will work if you click search, not a category below, the 2 things are not related.
The category will show only for the location selected if you select the city via the location switcher, which you don’t have in your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation

As I said, if Cloudaways using the exact same server has a TTFB that is a fraction of yours, it means that whoever configured that server didn’t do the best possible job.
I’m no server admin, reason why I look for solutions like cloudways. If I were in you I’d consider moving to a better solution or have a pro look into your server config. I don’t really know what is your expertise on that field, mine is very basic…

Are running on a Digital Ocean’s 1gb through cloudways. There are 4 websites on multistie, most of our themes add-ons installed and TTFB is 384ms.
I suspect the problem is in the server config…

Whoop was designed to look as similar to Yelp as possible. I think that’s the problem. I’ll ask to the developers if there is anything that can be done to fix this.

2) if you auto approve the claim the user will be able to edit the listing right away. He’ll just nede to click the edit button on the listing.
3) did you deactivate the advanced search add-on?
4) You’d need to create a category only for featured listings and make sure all featured listings are added to that category. Then you can hide all other categories via design >> map.

the name of the file and the name of the folder are exactly the same: /wp-content/languages/geodir_payments/geodir_payments-en_US.mo
That string is correct, it should use the currency code set in the system.

the option has been moved into the advance search settings page:
Redirect Settings On First Time Load > First time load redirect > Redirect to default location.
It should be safe to update Genesis, the script we added are in a GeoDirectory option page, so they should remain untouched.

can you please attach the settings used for your APi key? There could be an error there.
I still see a JS error coming from the theme too, a javascript error could easily break the maps too. DId you ask to the theme author for support about that too?
