    Hi,

    make sure you have the correct settings in GeoDirectory >> Payments >> Paypal Settings:

    Cancel URL should be :

    yoursite.com/?pay_action=cancel&pmethod=paypal

    Return URL should be:

    yoursite.com/?pay_action=return&pmethod=paypal

    Notify URL should be:

    yoursite.com/?pay_action=ipn&pmethod=paypal

    Let us know if that was it.

    1) you are not using the GD-Home as your home page, you are using the “About us” page..

    This would be your gd home right now: http://test.brightfeats.com/location/ and the map is there working…

    If you want to use the GD Home as your home page, go to Settings >> Reading of wordpress and set the GD home as your front page.

    Let us know if that was the issue…

    you can maximum have 3 levels of categories.

    1) Parent
    2) Sub
    3) Sub sub

    it cannot have spaces:

    Lower-case characters and underscores only. Min 2 letters

    should be places_to_stay

    Hi,

    isn’t it obvious?

    It says below the field: The new post type system name ( max. 17 characters ). Lower-case characters and underscores only. Min 2 letters. Once added the post type system name cannot be changed.

    That is because it creates a database table with that name and database tables cannot be renamed so easily.

    You need to delete it and create it correctly.

    about this:

    3. I have tried from the GeoDirectory Admin panel to disable the homepage right sidebar from showing – however no matter what I chose to do with the home page from the admin panel, nothing happens.

    GIven that you are using Avada, and GD adapts to it’s templates, the options to hide sidebars in design settings cannot work. It can be done with css though.

    FOr the other 2 questions, we would need to have a look at your backend.

    Please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will check your settings.

    the tag field is a free text field that accept new tags too.

    This is not possible without a customization.
