1) Open the .po file for GD core in poedit, this is located in the core plugin language folder (either download the plugin to your computer, extract it and locate the file or download it from your server via FTP or cPanel.)
2) /wp-content/languages/geodirectory/geodirectory-en_US.mo (this must be done via FTP or cPanel).

that’s the only correct way to change (translate or rephrase) 1 string or all strings in a theme or plugin.
It’s only 6 easy steps and after that you can forget about it.
Trust me it takes less than 5 minutes once you try it and once you get used to it, it would take approx 30 seconds.

that is the standard way to translate/rephrase default text strings within a theme or a plugin.
The other option would be to change the code directly, it’s more complex and every time there is an update you should change it back.
It looks complicated, but it’s much simpler than you may think.

there is another plugin that is hijacking the chosen script. wp-job-manager.
If you deactivate it the problem should be solved, if you can’t decativate it, please provide admin credentials and we will look for a fix.

You probably didn’t copy them correctly.

no there is no option to disable the lightbox effect (that in your website isn’t working for some reason).
I asked to the developers if there is a quick code snippet that can be used to filter out the link and make it a flat image.
They’ll let you know asap.
