Hi,
this is not a bug, nor anything is broken, this is how random sorting works in WordPress. We told you the same thing last year too.
WooCommmerce or any other plugin will work the same way…
This can only be considered a customization request and unfortunately right now we don’t have the resources to work for individual members’ requests. Not even for a fee.
It would dramatically slow down development for the entire community.
If you want I can move this in the jobs section of the forum, however we can’t guarantee that you will get an answer in there, because this isn’t a simple taks at all…

GeoDirectory allows every user to add/claim and edit listings.
There is no way to do that out of the box. Buddypress is a social network, but it doesn’t provide extra user capabilities, for that many users are using a membership plugin such as s2member to achieve that.
I’m not an expert of s2member so I asked to Guust, who knows it better than me, to give you more details if needed.

the developers are working on this, the problem only appears in the edit catgeory page. Not for new catgeories.
The only solution right now would be to roll back WP 4.4.2.

When the page was initially scraped the server returned 404. Not sure why.

the developer said he’s working on it (even though in my demo I don’t see an error), which means there must be something in the code that is not 100% correct.

this is so weird that Kiran couldn’t find a proper way to fix it yet (which is totally unusual). We asked Stiofan to jump in and provide his assistance.
