    Plus my Geodirectory Dashboard is not working. I get this Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function geodir_manage_location_get_list() in /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory_dashboard/includes/class-count.php:50 Stack trace: #0 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory_dashboard/includes/class-pages.php(150): GD_Dashboard_Count->get_location_count() #1 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory_dashboard/includes/class-pages.php(30): GD_Dashboard_Pages->get_home_stats() #2 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): GD_Dashboard_Pages->geodir_dashboard_index_page(”) #3 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #4 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(465): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #5 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php(253): do_action(‘dashboard_page_…’) #6 /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once(‘/home/mumbling/…’) #7 {main} thrown in /home/mumbling/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory_dashboard/includes/class-count.php on line 50

    Wow you are quick! We restored my site back one day and that’s the update that is available now so I assumed that is the one I used before.
    So if I update to that now do I still have to follow all the steps to disable the addons and code snippets etc? Or will it update without this?

    It was ver2.0.0.52 that I tried to install direct through the WP Admin Dashboard – that’s the one that mucked up my site.

    Good idea. I just ticked the update plugins on the wordpress dashboard so there was no instructions there. It definitely needs a warning for people like me who run updates automatically through the WordPress Dashboard not that go on to your website to download the update with the instructions.
    Now I have to work out how to recover my site.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Stiofan,
    I did that and now I’m getting

    Great thanks. I have created a second free package and in my email to business owners I have added instructions to go to Upgrade Listing to the more detailed free listing. just in case anyone else is looking to do something similar. Thanks

    In short, can I have one “add free listing” page for users and one “edit free listing” page for business owners after they claim the listing?

    You misunderstand the question, I do not mean register their details. That is fine. But when they add a listing, I have a lot of sections I allow for free listings e.g. title, description, opening hours, phone, website, address, tags, categories, target age group. Is there a way for a registered user to just add the title, description and address for a free listing without all the other options showing up? Then when a listing is claimed by the business owner they get the option (still within the free listing) to add phone, opening hours etc?
    Other than setting up the phone, opening hours etc as Admin Only? I don’t want to have to manually add all this info myself.

    No not the featured image. When people try to upload photos to a listing it won’t allow any higher than 2mb. It would be great if they could upload higher quality photos then they were reduced automatically once uploaded.

    Hi Giri,
    Just checking will these updates come through automatically on my WordPress Dashboard or will you send me a file I need to download again?
    I’m holding off launching my site until this issue is resolved so I want to make sure I get the update as soon as it is available.
    Thanks

    That fixed that link thank you. It now goes to the proper Register Page. How do I edit what fields they put in when they register? I don’t want the Username option because this does nothing. I’d rather have the Display Name. The Form builder does not work for this as I cannot delete any fields that are put in by default. I’d still like to make the Bio section optional too on the Account Page not compulsory.

    Ok Giri, thanks for that demo. I have realised what the issue is, if you click on the drop down list for My Account on the homepage, then click the “Register” link, it goes to the old user registration page. Can you please advise how I redirect this link to the new registration form? This is one that is automatically setup by Geodirectory. Thanks
