There is another way if u can easily do it. Just create a sidebar on your theme home page and add home map widget to that sidebar.

Hi,

I think u are getting confusion with Posttype and categories. GD has been built to support custom posttype and its taxonomy.
So in our demo, Restaurant is a post type(Not a main category) and French Cuisine, Italian Cuisine are categories of that post type.
So on home page when u are not on a specific post type archive page then categories of all the posttypes are shown as soon as u navigate to any post type e.g. /restaurants , categories specific to that post type are shown.

Have u enabled multiple rating for the listing ? Make sure that u choose rating for Overall as well as individual rating points.

Right now, neighborhood widget can be used on listing detail page only.
I will make it workable on other pages too.
