Hmm ok. So what do you think is the best solution if theres a carpenter that offer local services in denmark on mysite.dk and there is also a freelancer from denmark that offer his services world wide. How would it be possible for visitors around the world to find the freelancer from denmark if geodirectory is only per site?
Is there any way to combine both local serviced and world wide services?
So what does that mean, if you are on site.com and search for listings you wont find listings from site2.net in search results?
oh.. ok! KLEO theme recommends to have GeoDirectory installed. And both GeoDirectory and KLEO theme are integrated with Buddypress. And KLEO has a live notification system which sends notifications like new friends, private messages etc. That’s why I thought that notifications from GeoDirectory too were sent to KLEO live notifications, for example like if one member writes a review on another members listing or if a members sends an enquiry on another members listing. or if a member bookmarks another members listing.
I guess I’ll just hire someone to add these functions to KLEO live notifications.
but I keep wondering, what does the options do in the attached image?

Hi,
I’m getting notifications in wp-admin if someone comments on blog or sends a review. As a member on the site I’m getting notifications if another member send me a friend request, a private message etc. But if a member sends a review on another members listing then that member doesn’t recive any notification that there’s a new review on one of his/her listings.Not sure if there should be a notification when someone sends a enquiry but if a member sends a enquiry to another member then that member doesn’t recive any notification.
These notifications I’m talking about are all together with KLEO theme who has a notification system. on my site you can see the megafone icon in the upper right corner, that’s were all notifications are received, and of course on members page if you click on the avatar.
also I’ve been wondering about the Navigation options in GeoDirectory -> Design -> Navigation. None of the options there seem to work, or at least there’s no effect on frontend together with KLEO theme.
Regarding the star issue on mobile, It seems that it’s only on my phone (Samsung Ace), works fine on samsung galaxy, iphone, ipad etc.
This reply has been marked as private.It seems like this site is using WPML + GeoDirectory, if you look in this URL here you’ll find that the language is sv (swedish), but the listings aren’t just in the selected language, they are all over the world. If you choose english language and just press “search” button then you’ll find the exact same listings all over the world.
This is 100% exactly what I’m trying to accomplish, but it’s not possible as native functions?

hmmm, then I don’t understand the usage of WPML + GeoDirectory, isn’t it better then just to run multisites instead of running a plugin?
Would you know if there’s any way to have several languages but to show all listings?

I’m using one domain only, and the languages are in categories, for example http://mydomain.com/en and http://mydomain.com/no
so if someone is on http://mydomain.com/en and creates a listing then I would like that listing to be visible on both http://mydomain.com/en and http://mydomain.com/no no matter which language the member wrote the listing in. But I still have to translate the listing otherwise it won’t show on http://mydomain.com/no ?
What I basically would like to achieve with WPML+Geodirectory is to translate all “static” content, like menus, categories, etc, but the listings are written by members, and they can write the title and description for their listing in any language they like to. All listings should be possible to find in the categories regardless of which language the visitor uses.
ok, but if you’re not running wordpress multisite, where do you configure so that english language uses one domain (.com) and the german language uses another domain (.de)?
is that maybe one of the futures with WPML?
