Good one, but what if you want to mixe it up with the adresses that are good in map and adress field. I have a biergarden page, sometimes the adress is different than the biergardenposition – mostly nonameroads, or in the forrest.
But mostly its in the right place. To use your solution means I disable completely my google api generated adresses.
The other solution is an option for the user to use or not to use it. Also means independend from Google API…

I know, but the difference here is the option to disable or enable it in frontend by the user. The option is below the adress field.
If the user is disableing it, the adress wont be overwrite by the dragged pin. Adress and pin location could be different then.
In general this feature can be enabled or disabled in backend, to decide if the user can have this feature in frontend. If this feature will be disabled from admin in backend, the default feature is: “adress overwrite by dragged pin”.

I do not agree. Its good if you like to use geolocation, but what if not? Now GD force you to use it, in GT it was like purpleedge and me means. I know GD is a different product, but why not combining good old solutions with new solutions to make a perfect solution.
It should be possible to reset the location settings if you click on the homepage, so that visitors wont be lost on the website. Its not possible to get back to the starting point. For me its more a bug then a solution.
You can see the difference if you go to http://gartenlokale.com (old GT) and http://3dspotfinder.com (new GD)
For the best solution it would be cool to show all custom post types on the home page all over the world every time you click back to home page.

I checked the multilocation plugin again, I think it would be good to have a option to make the “Home Page Results” be always the same “Everywhere/Default city” and not only “first time”. Its confusing!

No I am not using any cache, but I found out, that GD isnt restoring location after a spot is focused. If you go back to homepage GD stays on the last spots location, but looks for the Homepagecustom post, thats why it dosnt find any spots anymore. If it would reset to everywhere city if go back to homepage – it should work!
I add the switcher, but I dont like it. It was possible with GT without the switcher. 😉

Its weird, it behaves totally diffrent in chrome & firefox. No way to reconstruct it.

Is it possible to ad an info window for admins to see if a new subscriber has set up a spot. I have many custom post types, to check which spot is on draft or not is a bit nasty 😉
