It is changed to [email protected] in both places and went to a listing and “Sent to a friend” using [email protected]

The mail logger says it was send, but I did not receive anything.

I changed the email address to [email protected] (my personal email) and the mail log says the bcc email was sent to [email protected]

I did not receive anything in email and nothing in spam.

Here is the response from Cloudways. However, I am still not receiving bcc copies of emails.

    Hi Ron,

The Elastic Email Addon has been activated for your account but you did not enable it from the server. We have now enabled it on the server as well and tested by sending test mails from the server which were successful. For your reference here are the mail logs.

Yes, I read the migration and it did seem straight forward. However, I would feel more confident if someone could assist in the move.

Please move this into the Jobs section.

    Thank you,

This is the response from Go-Daddy

This is Dan from Hosting Tech, below is the information we have found on this install of WordPress.

This is what we found happening on this WordPress that you may wish to look at:

The file wp-config.php has multiple iterations of Debug, please only have one and either turn it on or off if you wish, not both as it is set to currently.

The .htaccess file was renamed, I added a complete and default .htaccess so now one issue is resolved that he brought to us, the site loads its links like normal.

The next issue he brought to our attention was website speed. This server is optimized to run WordPress but at it’s core it is still WordPress. Meaning any issues that occur are due to how WordPress works. Our suspicion is that a plugin or theme is causing this. We do not claim to be WordPress experts, we are server experts, but our customers do run WordPress most of all. What we see is usually two things from which most WordPress issues derive from. Plugins/themes that are A. coded correctly but when combined with other plugins will generate errors, slowness, or fail to close database connections (more information on the next issue), and B. plugins that are simply not coded correctly, or as we call it inefficient coding, that will over time break or slow the WordPress down. An approximate 90% of issues we find with WordPress derive from a plugin or the theme, which is why our standard approach is to disable plugins and change the theme to a default theme. I have not done this as it would change the website entirely, even though we are almost positive this is the issue.

Final issue (has not been replicated, which is why we used the term almost in the previous description) is the database connection error and the too many users connected error. Our servers are shared servers, resources are divided among the collective users. Each hosting gets their slice and cannot take from their neighbor or more than safely allowed. For instance, with a runaway plugin or plugin in a theme that doesn’t show up in the plugins section inside of WordPress, we have seen two things. A plugin that does not clean up after itself (creates database connections and fails to close them resulting in less resources for the website and causing the aforementioned errors). Another plugin or multiple that simply amount to too many connections per second. The soft cap is 25/s. We have not been able to duplicate the error but this is the reason behind them on WordPress. The server is not failing nor has it failed, it is simply being pushed to capacity. More resource are not the solution, finding out what the issue is in the scripting and WordPress software is. We do have an elite few on-hand WordPress experts that can do this job for a fee, but most web developers should be capable of troubleshooting plugins and themes.

The homepage now loads, but when I click on a link, I get this.

    Not Found

The requested URL /events/mexico/guanajuato/san-miguel-de-allende/events/tour-visit-cuba-a-revolution-in-motion/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
