By the way, is number of CPU core matters to run GD? Some one told me that number of core is not important for WP as it is single thread process. Any comment?
I know ram is definitely the more, the better. But what is suggested RAM for handling millions of listings? 2,4 even 8GB of ram?
Hi Kor,
I found out the issue and fixed.
Apart from storing data in CTP data table, I found that they also stored in wp_post table which is not visible in phpAdmin panel. I have to search an item in the whole DB to locate where the residual data is. then delete all posts associated with the post_type to clear the records.

Hi Kiran,

Can you indicate where to configure this?
1. Can user search over all available CPTs rather than one by one?
You can use the WP Search instead of the GD search. Thanks

Servers nowadays should have no problem to handle millions of records. Just the performance side. I have tried Geo Booster, but cannot see significant difference. Currently, I have only 10k -20k records in every CPT, loading took a bit too long, between 15s – 30s to reload front page. Any suggestion to improve performance?
Thanks
Thanks very much for the info. It is better if search bar location allows IP Location detection for UX.
Found a IP location plugin “GeoIP Detection”, maybe your developer can see how to integrate it into you own Add-On
cheers

I drop the related tables in DB, delete the CPT in GD, when recreating the same CPT, GD remembers the previous setting somehow, including schema. I suspect it could be something went wrong with Link Business process. Those 3 CPTs were linked.
I have resolved it by dropping the table in DB, deleting CPTs, then at the same page, click Delete Data of the CPT. Well, it generates error message because I already deleted the table so no data to be deleted. But it resolved the issue somehow. I re-create the CPT again, table columns now showing post_address columns.
there must be bugs in error and exception handling. My bad that I open couple of windows working on different task in GD. That could also be a reason for the DB schema issue (not working on the same CPT tho)
It worth for your developers to replicate the error and debug it.
cheers
I thought so. I created 8 CPTs, 3 of them have missing address fields (post_address, post_city, post_zip, post_country). They shall be necessary fields for any CPT.
I have delete those CPTs and drop the associated tables. Will recreate and see
