PPS Deactivating Sucuri made no difference either.
PS I’ve cleared cache manually too with no result. I’ve updated CPT plugin. Tested again on someone else’s computer on Windows and it loads ok there and also on their iPad. Grr!
This is a site in progress not yet launched so I’ve only just installed the CPT plugin recently. I’m about to use it. I’ll update it. (I have much work to do on the site still as you can see, but little time.) I used my Clean My Mac programme to clear the cache as it always gets rid of all the rubbish on your computer and it clears all temporary files and all browser caches in one go. It usually works well.
The form looks ok now width wise but there is this code at the bottom which shouldn’t be there and the map problem as you say. I checked on someone else’s iPad and it loads perfectly there with the map, etc! So I assume it’s not the server cache, my VPS, then causing a problem….? I’ve cleared the cache in 3 different browsers to no avail. It does not display correctly on my iPhone either so it’s my devices with the problem.
I’d still like to know what caused it.
Many thanks.
SueThis reply has been marked as private.PS to above, I have ensured pw is as previously stated above. If it still doesn’t work, if you give me your IP address I can allow that for you to get through or deactivate the pw.
I have cleared cache and reactivated the SSL plugin and it’s showing full size now but that bit of code is still there.
I’ll sort the pw out.
SuePS But I’m using a different GD theme on that site where it works.
Having deactivated all my BuddyPress and Woocommerce plugins it turned out to be Really Simple SSL plugin that caused it. Can it be fixed as I like to use that one? I have the Pro version installed too but haven’t deactivated that although both are needed to work Pro. Deactivating the basic one enabled the page to load properly.
This problem is specific to this site which has the above plugins installed. Another site I have also has Really Simple SSL but not Woocommerce or BuddyPress and the Add Listing page works fine there with the active SSL plugin. Both are on GD V1 not V2.
Thanks,
SueThanks, will do.
This reply has been marked as private. It still isn’t displaying correctly on my Mac (Mojave) in Chrome and Safari. I tested it on a Windows laptop in Chrome and it’s ok there, full size. Odd. Where do I go from here? Any ideas?
It’s strange that for a second it displays full width then shrinks.
Thanks.
SueHi Kor,
Assuming I’m correct in adding this at the end of the .css file in the child theme, it hasn’t made a difference. I’ve tried CTRL+refresh to avoid caching. It’s just this website that has this problem. I haven’t changed anything so have no idea why it has occurred. It’s a site in progress. Thanks,
