I’m using InMotion and I contacted them about the slow speed. They said the site needs to be optimized so I’m currently looking for a developer to help with that.
It’s up now. I sometimes have issues with downtime (working on that!) but it only lasts a minute or two.
Warnings from FB debugger:
Object Missing a Required Value
Object at URL ‘http://www.familyfriendlyhudsonvalley.com/events/red-hook-1/events-1/old-rhinebeck-aerodrome-air-shows/?gde=2017-06-24’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because a required property ‘og:title’ of type ‘string’ was not provided.
Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.This reply has been marked as private.Awesome, thanks!
Okay, I get that. But since my website only covers one region, my readers are usually looking for places and events in multiple towns within the region (so maybe within a certain radius). But it sounds like I can’t quite do what I’d like.
I looked at the documentation for the location switcher. It looks like I have to use this code:
#menu-item-gd-location-switcher dd {width: 100%;}
since I only cover one region within one country. Do I add this in Design -> Scripts -> Custom style CSS? Or in the GDF Modern options -> Quick Code?
Thanks.
No, I don’t right now. There are many towns/cities that I cover and often people want to see results in several nearby towns. I’m just wondering why when someone looks at one place or event, they are automatically shown results afterwards in only that town. That’s not what my users would want.
Nevermind, I’ve got it figured out. Thanks again 🙂
That helped! Thanks! Unfortunately though it threw off the mobile view, the logo is now off center on mobile. Any way to fix that? I tried using the GDF -> Header -> Site Logo Margins but it didn’t help.

This reply has been marked as private.Thank you. I’m adding this question here because it’s related – is there a way I can have a front end profile page for regular users who want to change their password? I don’t like having them in the back end. Thanks.
