So by making the menu link to that category listing only my “blog category” posts should show on that blog page ? 🙂
that’d be perfect, how do I go about doing that (sorry if that’s a stupid question)
Shane.
sorted, thanks!
That can’t be correct or there must be a workaround?
Before updating from GDV1 -> GDV2 my “blog” tab on my website would only show blog posts that I had placed in the category of “blog” none of the other posts would show up there.
How can I have blog category tagged posts only show up in “blog”?
thanks so much!
April 20, 2019 at 9:48 am in reply to: GD V2 after updating the search function returns an error. #481881So, they have moved my hosting to a linux platform and now the search function seems to be working again which is great!
But the problem still is that the links to pages on my nav bar ( http://www.brazilianjiujitsu.ie) “clubs” “blog” and “add your club” are showing a ‘Not found’ page. How do I go about resolving this?
Also on another point, when I do use the search function I notice that the url contains /index.php/ in the url, is this bad ? i.e. for SEO results ? (https://brazilianjiujitsu.ie/index.php/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=)

Thanks for all of your help!

April 11, 2019 at 7:14 pm in reply to: GD V2 after updating the search function returns an error. #480165I initially searched ” Blacknight how to change permissions” and it leads me to this page: https://help.blacknight.com/hc/en-us/articles/212523589-Changing-permissions-of-files-or-folders
So I just anticipated that their response would involve me transferring to Linux Platform
Should I not have done this? hmmm …

April 10, 2019 at 10:54 pm in reply to: GD V2 after updating the search function returns an error. #479983As per Alex Rollin suggested, I will contact my host about the ownership issue but first I’d like you to undo your changes to my site, please and thanks.
Because now when I use the search function I’m receiving a 404 error. Also, my “clubs” “blog” and “add your club” pages aren’t loading and instead are showing “page cannot be found”
When this is fixed i’ll contact my host about the permissions issues
Warm Regards,
