Thanks for your help Guust, however whenever I go to GD > General, I’m still getting the error message: “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED” – how do I fix this up?

Thanks for getting back to me. Would I need to create the same custom field for each post type? And in that case, if I was to conduct a search across all post types for a specific custom field value, could the search easily return listings from all post types?
