    yeah there were several thousand.

    I will ahve to check the db as looking now i can see there are options missing for the cuastom post types etc also

    i will redo the transfer and test it again

    hi

    its just on the main gd page which is not the homepage. rest of the site runs fine its just gd gives the 500 error.

    There are three categories same as my test site on apache. i just moved it to the live server to test before go live

    Second question is around featured locations.

    When i search for an area and it shows up the featured listings it shows them with a distance.

    i would like them to be in order of closest first…

    Seems to be the right way to show them to me?

    And with the distance being an available variable i hope it wouldnt be a massive task to complete.

    ok i think i get it
    so in that case a listing page must be the individual place. so what is a detail page?. just so i know when i am trying to make changes

    can i make two different titles if the homepage and then each of the location pages share the same code? i would like the homepage to be

    Find the best Studios right here

    and then the location pages

    Find the top Studios in %%location%%

    is that possible if the location pages and the homepage are the same. as its going to look a bit odd if the homepage says find the top studios in ____

    im assuming that around line 3030 in general functions this part

    apply_filters(‘widget_list_sort’, $instance[‘list_sort’]);

    would need to have a filter added?

    in order to be able to add a new filter type of distance?

    lol yes i could. but i dont think many other people here have licenses for automate 10

    but seriously it has taken me months to get where i am . thats why i was offering a service to try and recoup some of the time costs to me.

    yeah localscraper is ok for some bits. same as yellabot and several others. biggest issue is none of these provide everything you need. some have lat long some dont. some use odd names for towns cities some export in a sensible fashion etc etc

    thats why i made my own.

    hi

    from what i have found so far there is not such a thing available.

    I have built custom scripts and exporters to create the file.
    specifically the requirements for import into gd means no existing tool provides everythign you need. you have to convert and modify quite a few fields

    I can provide it as a service if you have a target market which can be foudn by location and a keyword.

    hi. sorry i dont think i explained correctly.

    when i ahev a homepage map for example showing all listigns and zoomed out. I want to be able to zoom in to a city for example on the map and then the listings underneath to update so they just show the listings that are now visible on the map.

    essentially ajax update on map move. or a button to say refresh now and populate the list below with just listings that are showing on the map in this specific view.

    are the images pulled from the db entry at the moment? ie could i modify the path there and it work? i understand that might be awkward but perhaps as a stopgap?

    I am not using gdbooster currently as it breaks the site (again due to the very cool but oddly coded theme i am using)

    If there is an alternative then id be up for testing anything to assist.
