Iv had a look over it and it seems to be applying VAT now so many thanks for that, there are a couple of other issues iv noticed however:

1) The VAT number validator doesnt work on either the checkout or in the settings. Iv tried every variation i can think of ( with spaces, no spaces, lower case, uppercase ), the number validates perfectly on the EU VIES System website, but not on the checkout/settings.

2) For the payment gateways the ‘Stripe’ gateway seems to have disappeared, it was there and set up previously and is still set up as the gateway in the old section, but it has now disapeared from the new addon.

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

I have just done another test through the checkout/front end of the site and still no tax is added. We need the tax to be added at checkout as this is how customers will use the site.

Looking into the differences between the invoice we created and the one you created is that the test product you set up has an item type of ‘Standard’ where the ones we have are set as ‘Package’ as they are packages for our site.

I have attached a screenshot showing the checkout as we see it, i assume the tax should still be applied on ‘Package’ products, as if we change it to Standard it doesn’t let us checkout from the front of the site.

The price has not been changed so i don’t think its that causing it.

Im a little confused about what you mean by using the dev version of stripe.

Do you mean use a dev version of the Stripe Payment Gateway plugin?

Or use a dev version of the actual stripe platform.

Either way how would i go about this?
