Glad you solved it, WPML can add a extra layer of complexity to things that have been setup to be translatable to one different language.

Adding this line to your wp-config.php file will allow you to upload any file but this is a security issue and you should only do it when needed and remove immediately after. (until they release WP 4.7.2)

Please check your site now for regions.

For #1 if you have a city with the same name it will then show the region.

#2 i have been looking at this and i have added a task so it will be looked at in future but i can’t give a time frame yet.

Hi Belen,

For the regions we have to set what the majority will use and it seems the way we have it is the more recognized regions list https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=regions%20of%20spain
It could be edited with hooks to use the other region type if you really needed it that way but it would be for your site only not for GD as a whole.

For the search, can you explain the problem and what i have to do to replicate it.

You could use with tags or you could disable the auto fill address from google and add your own areas, you could make regions, inner,outer,orkney,shetlands. and each city and island, or you could just make each region an island and keep cities for towns, its really ur call.
