hmm why are u trying to add buttons directly on the checkout page?
We only set that page so u can edit the title and the permalink but we takeover the content to display the checkout process, you can add text but it would be via hooks.Stiofan

I don’t suggest using CF, we used it in the past but always had problems with caching so we no longer use it at all.

It looks like a bug, you can fix now by replacing this file in core: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory-functions/general_functions.php

They do it in a compleatly different way, you could do it all from their end but as i said i have not used it or tested it, proceed at your own risk.
