If its the main loop then u can use the gd_loop shortcode.

The WP post meta just grabs the raw info, i changed those to use our GD post meta shortcode and it works good.

If your just starting out and want to use BB i would recommend GDv2 as it has many changes to help with BB.Stiofan

They are not always applicable everywhere, but if you can give me good use cases we will consider it, for example the reviews widget is not limited per category so it does not apply there.

There is no setting to just disable the category bit, only to disable it all, under GD> Advanced Search > Enable search autocompleter >
