I don’t see the error, can you tell me how to replicate?

The way the near/autocompleter works is, you can enter a location anywhere and the search results will order results by distance to that location. if you use the autocompleter to select a location then the system will set your location to that area where search will only show places from that location basically like the location switcher.

You have options to turn on/off the actual submit when selecting for both search and near boxes.

Well if you are just updating the core in the future you should have no problems, if you have to reinstall old addons for some reason then this is what i did.

In main plugin file changed this:
```
$plugin_prefix = 'geodir_';
```
to this:
```
global $wpdb;
if(!isset($plugin_prefix))
	$plugin_prefix = $wpdb->prefix.'geodir_';
```
Then in the database table if you have any tables starting geodir_ you should rename them to wp_geodir_ or replace wp_ with your site DB prefix like the rest of the normal WP tables.

I seen the second post and was trying those details, i still can’t connect propperly, it connects but then says “working..” and never shows folder. I’ll flag this for Paolo to see if he can connect, it might be my FTP client does not like ur site.

FTP is not connecting correct for me, it seems to connect but does not list any folders, can you double check everything and test please.

My appologies i did not notice u are an expired member.
We converted to use multisite compatable db structure, if you pass me FTP and DV access i will fix this for you.
