    OK I have fixed them all. I was also able to figure out how to get the listings back on the map and restore the count in the category. Miracles do happen LOL!

    I need to know if this is going to happen each time I upload using csv because this would be a big problem.

    Hi Paolo,

    At first I was quite surprised to see your screenshot.

    There is definitely a problem though. When I went to the site I was still logged in – I click on log out and get a 404 error – see screen shot.

    Then I cleared my cache and went back to the site – all links were in place and I clicked on login (and did register too) and got to the signin/register form. I Entered my credentials and I was signed in – good. Then I tried to log out again and again got the 404 error. I can’t log out. To “reset” things again I have to clear the cache.

    So something is messed up.

    PS I do not know if this is related (maybe I should open another post) but when you go to the home page – the home page map is not spanning the width of the window/screen – it is chopped off on the left hand side. Then when you scroll just a little bit down (map is still in full view) the map jumps to the left, but then the map has a margin on the right hand side of the screen. Map width widget is set to 100%

    Hi Paolo,

    The first two suggestions did not work.

    What I did find that work is going into the detailed listing on the FRONTEND, then clicking edit, then saving the listing.

    HOWEVER, something weird is happening because every time I do this the “count” of listing in that specific category goes down by one. I started with 51 listing (count) now I have 47 (as I have “edited” 4 listing so far).

    This is very troubling to me for obvious reasons. Can you help me here?

    Please not that the problem is NOT the a pin doesn’t show- it is the wrong ping – a default pin – the default pin is the problem I have custom [pins set up.

    Hi Paolo

    I have to respectfully disagree. Per your message above the user should be redirected to the nearest location where there are records.

    In addition, I am located very near places that is in our database and I still get “No Records Found” results.

    This should not happen. I get complaints from everyone who tests out the site – even from people that are right in the middle of Boston.

    I have taken a look at the “Request” section as well & it seems like to me that GeoLocation should return result IN and AROUND the users area. What does around mean – is there a radius? If so what is it?

    It appears, at least to me, that geoLocated results are served up per the narrowest google maps user location. This is not useful and honestly lead to a poop user experience.

    @nespainvest – sorry to bug you but wondering if you experience a problem getting cornerstone to launch. I have read and followed all the documentation but when I click on the button to edit with cornerstone” I get taken to the front end of my site (not even the page I am trying to edit) without any editing capability (no left side edit bar).

    Thank you for this thread – I also have the same issue and the same opinion. While it is not the most elegant solution as pages will scroll & scroll at least it is something.

    Any plans to make the user experience better on this front (i.e. still have the pagination, but putt all the listing results on the map)?

    Well I am certainly confused. This is my experience on my Android phone:

    In GD>>Advanced Search>>ask user if they wish to be geolocated>> box NOT ticked

    RESULT: I get pop up asking me if I want to be geolocated (first confusing thing). I say YES and get a blank map with? “No Records Found” (Second confusing thing as your info above, to me, says, if geolocation is on you will get results nearest to you)

    In GD>>Advanced Search>>ask user if they wish to be geolocated>> box ticked

    RESULT: No pop up and no geolocation

    What am I doing wrong here??

    Not trying to be an ass – really the support is great from everyone – but I did bring this apostrophe bug thing up about a year ago & it was supposedly fixed. Somehow I guess it reappeared but now it breaks the site instead of just looking bad on the front end.

    My question is what is going to happen when a user goes and adds a listing and in the text that they add there is an apostrophe – is that going to break the site or take the apostrophe and instead insert the forward slashes?

    Will a file of say under 10,000 records present a problem? I am trying to understand or drill down to what is a “big” number

    Hi Simone!
    What about if the images are already on the internet and I have the urls?

    Does what you describe above require FTP?
