I’m unsure what you need from me to resolve this?
I tried ../?geodir_signup=true and it just went to the homepage as well.
Thanks – just let me know what you need. I think I provided you ftp info.

I’d like to come up with search results that queries a subcategory PLUS a location.
Sub-subcategory
AND
a zip code or multiple zip codes
would be what query? How can I accomplish this?
Also, I noticed I can create a Category > SubCategory1 > SubCategory2, but when creating a Place and choosing the Category > SubCategory1, there is no option to choose the SuCcategory2 down. Is there a limit on how may subcategories down a Place can have?
Completely understood. I guess I’m going to have to find a way to monetize this in one area so I can pay for other areas 🙂
I saw your post after my last post about me finding the answer. Thank you.
So, as I understand it, you are possibly going to allow us to have a 40 mile radius for posting new listings if we don’t have the multi location addon installed?
For example, Bellevue is 10 miles east of Seattle and it’s considered it’s own “city”, but to us Seattle people, Bellevue is an extension of our own town and we regularly do business there.
I can see the need to purchase MultiLocation if I’m doing multiple cities across the U.S., but not if it’s within one area of the state…
Thanks for clarifying. If this is the case, I look forward to the update!
Is there ANY thing I can do in the mean time as I wait?
Got the answer here.

Resolved.
Clarification – I want to add places that are 40 miles in radius of Seattle, but I’m not sure how to set this up.
May 8, 2014 at 7:48 pm in reply to: How to show GeoDirectory form/listings/search (not on homepage)? #1526I now see I have to add it as a widget and put it on my sidebar.
Not sure how to post this as “resolved”?
