That’s what one of my developers was explaining to me.
Regardless of the SEO it is still quite distracting that if an image is clicked in Geodirectory listings it opens a new window with the linked file. As I’ve said before we are using this mostly for mobile so it will ultimately cause a lot of user frustration when accidentally clicking on an image and it opens a new window.
I’m not sure if the lightbox is broken somehow or what the issue is but having this fixed would be extremely helpful to our user experience.
I’d rather not ask our clients to upload their Logo in two places as you’ve suggested before with adding it to the image gallery. I suppose I can hire someone more experienced to fix this issue.
Thanks for the help.
Given that linking to uploaded files effects SEO is there a way to just turn off the link on the uploaded logo file?
I just deleted and reinstalled the entire Events add-on & it still hasn’t fixed the issue.
ok… so the all caps is a bit much honestly. And I wouldn’t even know where to begin with editing that file so I’m assuming it was my developer. But thanks for finding the issue.

I have to choose either ‘events’ or ‘restaurants’ to link?

Listing link: http://usherinapp.com/usherin/san-jose-stage-company/
1) Edit Post (on listing page)
2) Highlight Text in textarea (e.g. Mission, Video, etc.)
3) Delete text
4) the entire textarea disappears leaving just black
5) it will occasionally reappear after scrollingThe only reason I think this is a Geodirectory issue is because it doesn’t happen on the rest of my site.
excuse me for copying the wrong link. my sincerest apologies.
As for the box office not being active… it definitely was at the time of my message. I wouldn’t waste your time with a frivolous question.
However, I’m still having the issue with the text area on Safari & Chrome. However I’m realizing it is specific to the Video fields.
I should specify that this is happening when I’m editing an existing listing.
Also, in that regard when editing an existing listing it does not register new fields created for the post type. For example; I’ve added a box office hours field to our venue listings & any listing that was published before this addition is not registering it in the edit post. How can I fix this?
google chrome
