Got it…thanks.
I don’t have an SEO plugin activated. They were there at one time. It’s a setting I can’t find.
March 27, 2020 at 3:43 pm in reply to: Issues with profile icon linking to page you're on and not profile page #537099At the moment it links to # and has a one drop down item, logout. There has to be more to it than that. If not, how do I remove it?
Also, if it depends on UserWP vs BP…currently BP is installed on the installation. It’s a clone of my other install and I’d like to remove BP and replace it with UserWP and compare.
I posted this in the BP forum…What do pages do I have to remove and what other changes need to be made to switch over…other than maybe running an optimization plugin to remove transients.
I’ve cloned my site…
If I want to remove BP and look at UsersWP what pages do I need to remove and is there anything else I need to do other than maybe run an optimization plugin to clean up transients?
ThanksThis reply has been marked as private. At this moment it’s…
Click your profile image
Click anything “but” a support link
Click support historyOr
Click the Orange account button
Click the My Account button
Click Support Historyor optimally
Click profile image
Click Support HistoryThe biggest issue for myself…Especially with this many different forums to manage so mant areas and topics of support… The workflow to get back to your history isn’t intuitive at all. Once you click your profile page you’re hunting for your history until you realize it’s on a non-related page and/or you have to go back to your ‘account page’ instead of from a support link such as the ones mentioned above.
This is what makes no sense in my opinion.
Yes It does…
But I have to go to the Orange button or click another tab/menu item to get to the link to support history. Wouldn’t you think that if you clicked on Topics Started or Replied you’d get the menu item as well on either of those 2 pages for your history? All the other menu items have the support history in the sidebar…just not the ones that have anything to do with support.

Were you successful?
ThanksI’ve figured out what it is that was driving me nuts about navigation…
The sidebar assigned to “Profile” doesn’t have the link to /support-history/.
Neither does the sidebar for
/topics-started/
/topics-replied/
The other pages do…but not the ones related to support. The only way to get back to your history is to select a non-relative menu item or go to the orange Account button and click and then click to MY Account.
The profile page you land on is just an empty page with the following notice and the wrong sidebar links(imho).
License Keys and Downloads are under the Downloads page.
Thank you.
Thanks
None of them actually have a physical address…only City, County, State.
Is there a way to incorporate the County? In your system the Region is the state and then there is city… There is a County level as well that would be good to implement.
Thanks
Ok…I’ve finally found the ‘switch’ to turn off the address in the CPT advanced settings. I had previously done it in the form, made it not active.
I’m guessing there is no way to have a CPT that ‘has addresses’ and one that doesn’t?
What I have is a directory of COVID-19 resources.
Some phone numbers are for statewide use
Some are for particular cities – Powell or Cody
Some are for multiple cities – Powell and Cody
(I just set up the Franchise plugin but still not sure how to implement it.
Not all of them have a physical addressSuggestions?
