Please give us a link or a ZIP file of the CSV file so we can check the file. Do NOT use MS Excel, it will corrupt the data.
    Only use LibreOffice or OpenOffice.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/

Create one listing in the backend with complete data.
Then export, so you will have the correct file setup.

Imported listings with errors will often not show on the front until the errors are corrected.

I cannot see that double paragraph, always give URLs so we do not have to guess where we need to look.
Having said that, possibly you have added double shortcodes to some templates, or added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing.

Updating with the same ID should work if you use the correct setting, see image. If it does not work, it often is because the post ID looks like the post ID, but excel has injected additional data that is breaking the import.

We recommend WP Super Cache: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/#cache

    Thanks

Export your current listings and compare the order and names of the columns with the CSV file you are trying to import.
Order and names must be identical, but your files setout do not match.

    Thanks

Well what does that mean, if I imported a file why would the export be different…sounds like a issue on the program side? You have not provided a solution?

    The solution is at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/add-city-name-to-listing-page/page/2/#post-505987

You can’t change how a database is organized by importing a CSV file, you need to use the correct format that the database expects. You do that by exporting from the database.

Again you not not providing a clear solution, you first say I need to create a manually listing, then use the example template, I did that! There are things on the export template that are not on the example template..right? Now your saying that people should use the export template…pretty confusing..right?

Do you people not provide solutions, example, I mentioned the duplicate text that is not on my import file, you say
“Having said that, possibly you have added double shortcodes to some templates, or added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing.” This statement you made is just a guess, did you bother to look for a solution or to see if your guess was correct?
This is a link to the page with duplicate text it’s the Search Page, the only thing I see different then the original short code is where I added the map short code.
    https://bestsolarinstallation.com/our-locations/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=94806&sgeo_lat=37.9759027&sgeo_lon=-122.34476110000003

If your unable to remedy the issue maybe someone else can, if not let me know I’ll just cancel and move on, I’ve wasted enough time on this all ready.

    Thanks

I am not an employee or support staff member but I am a developer offering a fellow member some help which means I can not see your account or what version you are using.

    Hello JessPena:

    1. Configure the fields in each one of your current custom post types (or even just default places).
Assume these columns are in order:

    (First Column)Name: Jess Pena
(Second Column)Date of Test: 09/02/2019 (US Date)
    (Third Column)Test Score: 100.00

    2. Add 1 example listing

    3. Export the listings files.

    4. Erase the example listing (or keep it if its a real listing) and add the rest of the data to your file in the correct columns.
Gust was trying to say make sure the right data goes in the right column — the Name going into the Test Date column would create an error as the Test Date column is expecting a datestamp or datetimestamp and not a string.

    5. Add all of the additional listings to the spreadsheet and save with LibreOffice or OpenOffice as a csv file.

    6. Upload the spreadsheet wit the added listings.

Hope this helps further clarify for you.

    Warm Regards,

    Jonathan

I said to export the listings so you can see the correct format. I did not say to use any template. I guess when you say “template” you mean the sample CSV. That is just a sample, not a template to be used. You should use the export function.

“Having said that, possibly you have added double shortcodes to some templates, or added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing.” This statement you made is just a guess, did you bother to look for a solution or to see if your guess was correct?

I cannot provide a solution if I do not know where to see the problem.
Now that you have told me it is on the search page, I can see the reason is like I guessed, you added different shortcodes that do partially the same thing. I have deleted the second paragraph in the GD Archive Item template, meaning I deleted

    [gd_post_content key='post_content' limit='60' max_height='120']

    Thanks
