    Hi Folks

Where do i hide / unhide fields for the add listing page ?

I can’t see anything in your docs to confirm this.

    Kind Regards

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for your post. Custom fields can be edited as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/ .

If a field is active and not ‘admin only’ the only way to hide it is with Custom CSS. Be careful not to hide required fields or the user will have errors they cannot see or fix.

    Hi Alex

I am not seeing any of those settings under the general tab.

    See attachment.

    Cheers

You must press the “Show advanced” button in the top right.

You can choose an option on the developer subtab to always reveal advanced options.

    Ok thanks,

We are now getting an error, see attached.

We are not charging so we do not need any cart.

    Cheers

The screenshot did not show the error.
Now that I check I see it is the ‘no cart selected’ error.

If you want to use Pricing Manager, then you must select a cart and install that cart.

    Otherwise, please uninstall Pricing Manager.

    Thanks

    Hi Alex

I think we were told by you guys to install pricing manager as its needed for the packages and for sorting. When i deactivate it, the package is removed. See screenshot.

    Kind Regards

If you are using packages for sorting, great, but you will need a cart for checkout.

    Hi Alex

All our packages for the foresable future are free, we are not charging anything for any packages so do not need a cart. How do we bypass this ?

    Kind Regards

If you add a cart, and all packages are free, then the users will not see the cart anyways.

Why not just deactivate pricing manager?

    Why do you need packages?
