    Hi Joe,

Unfortunately, there aren’t any docs for this and I would recommend working this out with a 3rd party social share plugin and display it on the header and footer using the plugin shortcode.

That’s exactly what I’m looking to do. I downloaded the social share plugin, addtoany, located the shortcode but I’m not familiar with where to place the shortcode in order to display in header and footer.

I searched the gd documentation, couldn’t find any help there??

    can you direct me??

    Thanx

You can add a shortcode from the plugin to the top or bottom of the GD Details template, or to an HTML widget for the details page sidebar.

For WP or other 3rd party plugins you can use Widget Logic to display the widget only on GD Detail pages:

add to the top (above header) or bottom (?)…does that mean there’s not a way to display in the header? and the footer I gues I could use the widget, but how about the section where the copyright displays??

    Thanx

You would probably need to open up the theme files to do that.
When you said header and footer we both thought you meant above or below content.

The header and the very bottom of the footer don’t have widget sections so that would require editing the templates or using the footer snippet here with a shortcode:
