When adding a map to the Archive page for all of my place categories to populate, the map is showing ALL categories, not just the currently selected category.

In addition if I have “Enable category filter?” checked on the map on any page it will not load the map (when using Google Map, works fine with OSM).

    Hi iws,

Thanks for your post. I need to check the error on your Website. Could you share your Website URL here so that I could inspect it? Also, make sure that you’ve included billing as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/#billing

Only directory maps have the category legend.

Sounds like the map is setup incorrectly.

Check the settings and make sure you choose map type = archive

    Hello,

it looks like you need to start over with the shortcode.

    Archive maps can’t exclude terms.

Trust me, the archive map is the right maptype for the archive page template.

I’ve remade the shortcode several times & used the elementor widget. Still fails to load in both of these cases. Again, if I switch to OSM it works fine with the settings I have on the shortcode, fails to load with Google maps.

Figured it out, was being blocked by my servers’ 6G FW as a bad request block.
