    Hi,
    first of all “Happy Holidays” 🙂
    I have readed some topic in geodirectory support like the following:

    All this topic are olds topics.
    Resuming, at this time listing run like following:
    1. I set the number of listing I want to show in a page (yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php). For example I set 10.
    2. In listing page and also in search page will be showed:
    2.A 10 listings in the map
    2.B 10 listings in “listing zone” (belowe the map).
    So, If the result of my search are 40 listing, I will have 4 page.
    The problem of this solution is the following:
    In each page I will have 10 listing, and when I change from page 1 to page 2, the first 10 page (showed in page 1) are deleted and I only can see the listing from 11 to 20.
    This is a good solution for blog of news, where user look for individual articles. So there is no problem if I go from page 1 to page 2 losting the previously 10 listings.
    But in GeoDirectory listings are not articles…, they are points in a map. In order to provide a good experience to the user it will be better another pagination system that can show all the listings as the pages are opened (without deleted the previously listing showed in the previously pages).
    Of course, if I change the number of listing to showed (going to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php) and selecting a big number, the page of my web will take a long time for to be showed. So it is not a good solution…
    Good solution is “Infinite Scroll” with the following features:
    Show for example only 10 listing (in listing zone and also in the map) if there is no scroll. After scroll below, the page should show 20 listings (the 10 olds listing more the other 10 new listing). In adition the map should be updated with the new 10 listings. So after scroll the map should show 20 listings (the olds 10 listings more the others 10 new listings).
    Other people has asked for a “Infinite Scroll Solution”. So my QUESTION 1 is: are you working in a feature like I have described previously?

    I am looking for “Infinite Scroll” using external solution. I have installed plugins for “Infinite Scroll” and all of them asking me for: Navigation Selector, Next Selector, Item Selector, Content Selector. I do not understand very well what I need introduce… I have introduce the following values in the first and second field (I am not sure if these values are corrects…), and for the other two values I do not know what I need to introduce…

    So my QUESTION 2 is: can you help me in introduce the correct value?
    Navigation Selector: div.Navi.gd-navi (I do not know if it is correct…)
    Next Selector: a (I do not know if it is correct…)
    Item Selector: I do not know what value…
    Content Selector: I do not know what value…
    I think that using an external plugin I will not have the result I want… due to relation between map and listing showed in listing zone. But Id like to do a test and see the resultate.
    Of course I prefere to have a GeoDirectory Core Solution. I hope other people are asking for that.

    In conclusion I hope your reply about QUESTION 1 and 2. In addition I accept others solution based in your experience (like specials third party plugins compatible with geodirectory, or special snippet or other things…)

    Hi,

    that plugin will not populate the map too. Currently we are not considering adding infinite scroll.

    This is considered a customization and for this beyond support. You will need to hire a developer to make it work with GeoDirectory.

    Do you refer to the plugin I mentioned in my first post (http://pixellanguage.com/wordpress-infinite-and-load-more-pagination-plugin/)?
    Are there in the wordpress repository “INFINITE SCROLL PLUGIN” that can populate the map?
    Do you know what plugin can populate the map?
    I think there is no Infinite Scroll Plugin that can populate the map without customization because if I scroll in the listings in the down zone , they will be opened, but if I return to scroll in the up zone, it will return to PAGE 1, so the map will only show listing of PAGE 1.
    If you know a plugin that can populate the map, or that is more compatible with GeoDirectory I will thank you for your suggestion.
    2. I consider INFINITE SCROLL is a very powerfull feature that should be introduced in the CORE of GeoDIrectory, so I have posted a new request for feature in this page:

    But I can not see it. Maybe do I need wait your approvation … ?
    3. I take the occasion to suggest you to make replies in the first 20 most populate “feature request”. The problem is that there are REQUEST with a lot of VOTES (500, 400, 250, 200 and so on …) and there are not included in the PROGRESS section. So I think it’s very important to have update information for each very populate REQUEST. It is enought a simple reply of you in each REQUEST saing for example:
    A) is not possible to make (very complicated codification)
    B) have not been taken into consideration because …
    C) we will work in it in the next months
    4. You can indicate if there is a publication with a PLAN OF WORK of Geodirectory Team. I know you are working in INVOICE PLUGIN, after that you will work in Geodirectory APP. But this is an information that I have understood reading information in differently posts. I think it’s very important to have a calendar with the next works.
    Is the calendar published in any page?
    Alternatively can you do a resume of PLAN OF WORK in this post.

    Hi,

    you’ll never be able to achieve this with plugins, this would require a major customization.

    We don’t provide a roadmap of future development I’m sorry.

    The feedback system is purely indicative for us to know what could be needed by the community. We do not guarantee that will develop any of that even if a request receive thousands and thousands of votes.

    The booking system for example will probably never be developed even though it is the most voted and I explained why in the comments.

    thanks for your reply.
    All is clear.
    I have spoken with the developers of:
    https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/yith-infinite-scrolling/
    They have confirmed me that will work in a compatible version from GeoDirecotry and “yith infinite scrolling”.
    They also told me that in the next 3 months are involved in others works, and they going to work in compatibility after the next 3 months. So I suppose in summer it should be ready.
    At this time “Marker Cluster Addon” does not run in CPT page because it would not make sense (as a general rule administrator setthe number of post in one page from 5 to 10, so there are only a few listings in the map).
    But now, with this news about Infinite Scroll in Geodirectory, it will be interesting for the administror to have a “CHECK BOX” in dashboard for enable (if user want…) “Marker Cluster Addon” also in CPT pages.
    So my question is:
    If “yith infinite scrolling” will runs in GeoDirecotry, can we have the “Marker Cluster Addon” also working in CPT pages?
    Or maybe, does it is too complicated for @stiofan to do run “Marker Cluster Addon” also in CPT pages?

    I think that’s going to be made, but it will not help with infinite scroll.

    The only way to make the map work with infinite scroll is that the map only loads the markers of the listings that are visible on the screen at any given time.

    Any other option will probably look messy and not user friendly.
