I have a couple of things that i want to do with my site which you might be able to help me with.

    1. I want to be able to put a “read reviews on trip advisor badge” above the reviews and have it link to the review page for the place on tripadvisor. I would like to be able to have a custom field where I can just paste the link and if there is a link in the field it will show the picture with link otherwise i won’t show anything.

    2. I want another tab which would have what is in it as a custom field for the place which would be called “More Details”.

    3. and finally the first tab is called “profile” and I would like it to say details instead.

    Thank you

    site is “http://largefamilyaccommodation.com/”

EDIT: I have added a tab and i would like to add in so if a custom field is filled in it will display an image with that link in the custom field but when the custom field is empty it will show nothing.

    1. This page should get you started:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-field-examples/
You can create a URL field and then style it as a “badge”.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#url

    2. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#fieldset

    3. GD > Custom post types > edit the relevant CPT > Profile tab label > “Details”

Thanks for your reply I am still a bit confused with a couple of things:

    1. I want it to show a trip advisor badge above the review section on my site and the custom field example page hasn’t told me how i could put a “badge” with a link at the top of the reviews on my site for that place.

    2. It is not making a new tab on the pages I don’t know why

    3. All Good

Could you please help me with these things.

    Thanks

    1. The link will be different for each listing I am guessing.
So you need to create a URL custom field.
That can only be added to the sidebar or one of the tabs, unless you use some customization.

    2. Please post URL and admin details and all details of the listing where you are trying to add a tab.

    I added a tab to http://largefamilyaccommodation.com/accommodation/australia/victoria/hepburn-springs-1/sleeps12/little-auberge/#gd_tab_1

Have a look at your setting at GD > Accommodation settings > custom fields > 2 last ones

Will it be much customisation to do 1.?

    And thanks for doing that

After playing around with that for a bit I came into a problem where i don’t know if i can make the badge icon bigger because it is tiny at the moment. I don’t want text there and the link should open when i click on the picture.

Actually sorry to confuse you but i want to keep the explore tab how it is and i want to have the trip advisor picture on its own page and have the picture be bigger than a tiny badge and for it to have the hyperlink in it not the text.

Do you want an image there that is linked to the tripadvisor URL, rather than the Icon and the Read Reviews link? So if you click on the image you go to tripadvisor?
If so, where’s the image please.

You want to the “picture be bigger”. So I am asking: what picture do you want to use? URL of the image or upload here or whatever you mean. Or a screenshot explaining.
