Just so you know, ive been blocking out 750 at a time and importing them here and there while I wait. Anything over 2 MB does not work so I have to reduce lines.

    Hi,

2mb is the default PHP upload limit on most servers. Did you try increasing it and also increse timeout and max_excecution_time?

If you don’t know how to, please ask to your hosting support.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    hi,

please ask to your hosting provider what is set as max_upload_size in PHP.

All servers even the most powerful has limits set by the server admin.

    Thanks

I am the server admin.. There are no issues with the server, if u look at the media library and try and upload a image you will see this
Maximum upload file size: 1 GB.

There is a issue with the script. Has anyone ever had success with larger files?
meaning the change are in effect and have no issues. Reguardless I will be doing a complete reinstall from scratch…

Ok so I have solved the issue. GEODIRECTORY has a Max File Upload settings that overrides the server. its in the general settings and its misspelled and not clear that it relates to importing listings. It should not function this way and should only over ride user uploads of images and such. its set to 2 MB by default and can cause users a lot of issues. My installation still says the licensing is wrong. At least it should prompt an ERROR to change the setting in the main settings tab.

    Maxi upload file size(in mb) [ 2 ]
(Maximum upload file size in MB, 1 MB = 1024 KB. Must be greater then 0(ZERO), for ex: 2 )

    Hi,

I’ll refer your feedback to the developers.

For licencing, you need to enter the licence keys that you find here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/accetturo/downloads/

In GD > Auto Updates / Licensing

Let us know if that is solved too.

    Thanks
