    Hi rushter,

Thanks for your post. You can use the shortcode builder https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/ and use the shortcode below to display your GD categories anywhere on your homepage.

    [gd_categories post_type="0" title_tag="h4" sort_by="count" max_level="1" max_count="all" max_count_child="all"]

    Hi Rushter,

Thanks for your reply. You can refer to this section of the documentation that explains how to setup your frontpage https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/ . Could you give this a try?

So what you are saying is that I should not use that page except as my search page and create another page that takes you there and then I can spruce it up to my heart’s content? Lol.

Do you mean the Popular Categories widget on the Supreme Front Page in the Featured Area? It only displays the 6 top categories.

If you want to display more then you will either need to modify the theme or use a shortcode as Kor suggested.

Very odd because it used to show all of our categories and we never manipulated anything. All we did was, when we first uploaded our data, remove that data, removed all of the places, made corrections to our database, then re-uploaded it. Could there have been an update to the theme that used to show all and now only shows top 6?

    hi rushter,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I’m not sure how your Website looks like before you made the corrections to your database. Could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that I could check and see the homepage?

    Hi rushter,

Thanks for your reply. I’m able to see contents on your homepage now. Did you manage to sort this out yourself?
