    Hi Everyone,

The same old problem – only I am not sure what is going on in my case.

When the map is on – it wouldn’t show default location (my city), and the locations for my directory listings.

Looking at the Console in my browser, it says: Google Maps API Loaded 🙂

Sometimes I get this error when trying to set specific locations: REQUEST_DENIED.

Tried different combinations of URLs to add as my credentials – that only goes as far as removing the “Ooops – something is wrong” screen.

I can’t get it to display specific locations.

    Would appreciate any tips. Thanks.

What is the error in the console?

Share the URL and we can take a look.

Request Denied due to..? If the quota is exceeded then billing must be added to raise the quota.

Hi Alex, thanks for the quick response.

Google billing is enabled for this account but the default location is still not working.

This is the web page: https://epsychology.ca/

Right now the error I see in the Console is this one:

    [DOM] Found 3 elements with non-unique id #aio_special_field: (More info: https://goo.gl/9p2vKq) <input name="aio_special_field" type="text" id="aio_special_field" class="aio_special_field" value>

    What else can I do?

Please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply so we can check your settings.

I do not know offhand where that aio info is coming from.

Usually map render issues like I see on your site come from a problem with location data within listings or in the location manager database of locations.

    If you go to

GD – Settings – Multilocations – Manage Locations

Do you see a default city/location?
    Can you set one there?

None of the locations should be empty or have for example ,,, in them denoting missing country, region, or city information.

This is the error you have, so make sure you activate that API:

Geocoding Service: This IP, site or mobile application is not authorized to use this API key.
For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

Your listings do not have addresses. Add addresses to them or drag the marker after you fixed the GeoCoding API.
For the moment one listing will show because I fixed the address of one listing only:

These are the different APIs you need to activate for your project:

Alex, Guust, thank you very much.

his is a referrer type error on your site saying the key is no good.

Not sure what that means because I’ve tried all kinds of URLs, including very specific ones (pointing to a specific directory on my site) to very general (https://*.epsychology.ca/*).
Most of the time the map won’t be visible at all.

I have tried turning on and off other Map APIs (as shown in the screenshot above and in the tutorial on this website, and sometimes no map would be available at all and things would go back to the “Ooops, spmething went wrong!” message.

So still not sure what combination of settings makes Map API keys work.

I’ve tried these with no luck:
    – adding referer URLs
    – enabling other map APIs
    – enabling billing
    – getting a new key and using that

After you logged in, the map is finally showing Toronto, so thank you very much for helping me with this one.

    Have you tried *.epsychology.ca/* ?
