Choose what categorys to show

    My site has very many categories, and I need to display some of them, not all. I need a widget or some way to show only some specific categories. Like the “CPT categories” widget, but I only want to show one branch in the category-tree, not all categories under the main category.

    Is it not possible to choose what categories to diplay?

    With the popular categories widget it is possible to set a max number of categories:

    Have you already tried the options on the widget?

    More detailed and it might be an idea to just write some html to make it exactly the way you want.

    I have a structure like this:

    Kategory Houses:
    Sub-Kategory1 Small house
    Sub-Kategory2 Big house

    Kategory Activities:
    Sub-Kategory1 Sports
    Sub-Kategory2 Fishing

    Kategory Food:
    Sub-Kategory1 Restaurants
    Sub-Kategory2 Shopping

    And I only want to show the sub-categories “Sports” and “Fishing”. Not any of the others.
