Claim listing won't update

    Hi there, I moved the URL of the website I installed GeoDirectory on from my test site to its ‘live’ URL. The Claim Listing plugin was showing as needing updating, but when I updated it, it says it shows: Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized

    I deactivated GeoDirectory on the old site, but it’s still happening. What do I need to do?

    Hi Brenda,

    Please make sure that you are using this method https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#updates to update the plugins. If it doesn’t work, try deactivating and activating the license code and see if it helps. Otherwise, you can share WP admin access in private reply and we’ll check on it.

    I’ve deactivated and activated the plugin a number of times. It will look like it’s working fine, then I go away and when I come back it’s deactivated again. Claim Listings is the only GD plugin this is happening with and is becoming a bit of an issue.

    I activated the addon and tested a claim and it is still active.

    In some cases a cached URL can cause this issue. You could try clearing your browser history.

    Let us know if it happens again and how we can recreate the issue.
