    Hi:

We have a main site where the geodirectory is installed, however, we would like to use the same directory, setup and database on another website. So, for example, on the main site, we want to be able to offer all locations. On other sites, we want to be able to offer selected locations from the main database from the first site, without having to replicate the data.

    Is this possible? Thank you.

The only way to completely copy a GeoDirectory installation is to duplicate or clone the site. Some settings from GeoDirectory can be exported, as well as listings, and then templates can be copied/pasted.

GeoDirectory is multisite compatible, but does not have any features besides the Embed that work between sites. What you are talking about would probably require an API integration.

The developers have discussed adding a feature like this in the future but we are still collecting requirements.

I will add your ideas to the notes and post here if an update is available.

Ok, that would be great, thanks! I can see this is as being a very beneficial feature.

When you say that ‘Embed’ will work between sites, what are you referring to?
