Introduction

Use the Embeddable Ratings Badge to allow listing owners and visitors to embed a rating badge for the listing on a 3rd party site.

Preparation

Check to be sure you have the following plugins installed before you get started.

• GeoDirectory V2

Installation

1. Download the Addon from your account.
2. Install the Addon.

Settings

Open the GeoDirectory settings at WordPress Backend – GeoDirectory – Settings

Step 1 – Configure the Default Embed Settings

Use the main embed settings to configure the default options.
You can set the default, and choose whether the user can override the settings when they click on the badge to create their embed code.

Step 2 – Add the GD Embed Element to a template or sidebar

Add the GD Embed widget, shortcode, or block to the GD Details or Archive Item or GD Details Sidebar

Use the shortcode builder, widget, or block to open the advanced options for configuration of the Embed Badge.

Step 3 – Configure an Embed

Visit a listing and click on the embed badge to view this form that can be used to configure the display of the badge on the remote site and shows a preview.
