Hi I am looking to hide a default field in a custom post type created for users who are online-only (ie have no address)

I saw this post which explains about just setting ‘is active?’ to ‘no’
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/cannot-delete-fields-from-listing/

But this is not option for address.

How would I hide this please so when a new listing of this type is added (frontend) they do not get address or map stuff?

    Hi Claire,

the only way to do that is using the Custom Post Type add-on and create 1 listing type without address requirement.

    Thanks

    Hi,

That’s exactly what I did and the address field came up as a default item.

Any clue what I did wrong?
