I am still struggling on memorizing all the changes.
    I have 4 CPT’s

I want to use a custom side bar for each. Thus I am using a Custom Sideber Widget.

I am struggling in the I am confused on how to create or which to create for each of the CPTs, the Archive Page Template or the Archive Item Template.

    Or, am I suppose to create a total of 8 ( 2 x 4 ctps = 8)

Here is some information on one cpt. The slug is / wholsale_carrier/
    A sample is here: https://whowriteswhat.com/wholesale_carrier/berkley-companies/

As you can see in the screen shot, the default widget area is ready but, I do not want to use a default wiget, instead I want to use a custom side bar.

So which template do I create so that I can assign a custom sidebar for /wholesale_carrier/ listing in general?

    Thank you for your assistance

Archive items are only the display of one listing on a category page, or a GD Listings widget etc. The GD Archive Item template is never used to create a page, only components of a page. So you never will need a sidebar just for a GD Archive Item.

If you can assign widgets depending on custom post type, you can use the same GD Archive template for all CPTs.

You can add different widgets in the same sidebar depending on CPTs using Widget Logic: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#logic

    Thanks
