csv import – draft or published ?

    Hi all,

    if I import listings through .csv – are they set to “draft” or “published” ?
    I need them set to “draft” to fine-tune the listings.
    If this is so: everything is okay – if not: insert an option in the csv-import tab to set the imported listings either as draft or published.

    Once imported, you can use the bulk edit function of WP to set them all to draft. Does that solve it?

    Wouldn’t it be better the other way ? Not published immediatelly ? In case I made a mistake ? And because if they where published immediatelly, a ping will be sent out to searchengines and they could (perhaps) find the wrong content.

    Hi,

    So far, nobody ever mentioned this, so we never really even thought about it.

    if you wish CSV upload default status for listing to be draft, please request here and if most users vote for it we will consider it.

    I have mentioned this a few minutes ago: Perhaps it’s useful to let people suggest features, no matter if they have votes left or not. Because often you have got a great idea but you can’t post because of no votes left.
