Custom Fields

    When I go to Settings within a CPT, the first option that shows is Custom Fields. At the bottom it says there are no custom fields here yet.

    So am I correct in understanding that custom fields are those created with ACF for example and are in addition to the default available fields listed in settings?

    It seems with all the available field options listed (standard and predefined) that I wouldn’t need to create additional custom fields using something like ACF and can instead use field options from the standard and predefined fields listed in settings.

    What am I missing related to custom fields versus standard and predefined fields in Geo Directory?

    All the fields should be there.
    Where it says that there are no custom fields yet, that means that you have not created any special ones yourself. That is usually only for developers.
    Click on any of the fields on the left to add them.
