Data are not stored correctly

    Hi together,
    I tried to create a new listing in the directory “Tierorganisation”. The post is:

    I will send you the credentials.
    I entered several times the category: “Tiertafel”, email: info@tierpfotenhilfe.de and URL=https://tierpfotenhilfe.de and also
    the adress:
    Eppenser Ring 27
    29576 Barum

    But each time I update the data, the data are gone afterwards. They are not stored in the database.
    Can you please help me. I do not understand what is going wrong.

    I see what you mean there. Please update all GD Addons and let us know if that doesn’t fix the problem.

    Please update outdated theme and plugins. It seems like conflict with theme or one of active plugin.

    Hey Matthias,

    when post data get saved/updated. save_post action get called.
    https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/save_post/
    most of plugins use save_post action to save custom fields or do some operation during data save.

    since several plugins can use save_post action at the same time. there may be chances of conflicting or totally avoiding save_post action call from other plugins.

    So I will suggest you to perform troubleshooting steps once.
    and let me know if you found conflicting plugin/theme that causing it.
    so we can narrow down our exploration to that plugin/theme.
