Default category for new listing

    Currently, I’m running one CPT (Families) and removed the “Places” one.

    So, all New Listings will be this CPT (Families).

    How can I have that CPT category automatically added to any New Listing?

    (I don’t have the Category field showing on the New Listing Form – it’s simpler for the user like that – but it means I need to add it manually when I approve the listing or the listing doesn’t show in search)

    Thanks for your reply. Every listing requires a category and have you tried adding a default category as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/place-categories-update/#default-category .
