Default image & Default logo?

    I have a logo field and post images for my listings. I would like to specify a default logo to be used on the details page and as the image for the archive. But, I don’t want this logo image to show when post_images is called. How can I do this?

    How do I get away from the Fallback? I want to be able to specify a default value for each, and not have the logo fall back to the post images, and I don’t want the logo included in the post images slider

    Hi Terri Tutich,

    The Fallback is the default value. If you don’t have the “Company Logo predefined field”, it won’t show up on your listing image.

    ok. let me try to explain this again.

    I have a defined Logo field.

    I also have post images.

    I have an image I would like to use for the logo if nothing is uploaded.

    I would also like to be able to specify a default image to use if no post images are added, that would be different from the Logo.

    Hello,

    What is possible is that any custom image field displayed with GD Post Images will access the fallback images.

    There is only one set of fallback images, and individual custom image fields can’t take default images (in field settings) apart from the fallback images at this time.

    I have made a note of default files for custom file fields. We may decide to add that in the future, but it would add some additional complexity to the GD Post Images feature which is already quite complex.
