I don’t think there’s much that can be done about this, but I will ask you gurus about your opinion.

When I put an image up as the first on Details — which makes it Featured Image and spreads across the top of the page — it looks okay.

That same image, when shown to the left of the individual listing on the Listing page looks chopped.

Any suggestions to minimize this naturally occurring problem?

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Sorry, here are more pertinent details and two images.

Picture USED in attached is: 1,170px × 348px

The Details picture and Listing picture are attached, so it makes clearer what I’m talking about in earlier message…I hope.

You can adjust the image positioning with custom CSS based on your sites needs. Some sites use wider or taller images/video and so some adjustments may be needed.

I understand, Alex. Unfortunately, don’t think I’ll have a “specific” type/width/height of image uploaded…it’s going to be a mixed bag.

Maybe I can add additional custom image field for the listing image.

Therefore…can you tell me where in the code the listing image is inserted?

I know where the Details image is set.

Would you say there’s an optimum size for the listing image? Know the Detail image optimum size is in Overview of GeoDirectory.

    Thanks!

Have you taken a look at: https://wpgeodirectory.com/codex/codex/geodirectory_templates/listing-listview-php/
Supreme works best with landscapes, and doesn’t handle portraits well.

1400×788 is the ideal image size(edited)
    as explained here
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/

all supreme code is in inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php
