    Hello,
I have created two separate pages. One for a Business Directory and the other for Event listings. I have noticed that when in the Events settings page after creating categories for “Events” they appear in the Directory as well so I end up with too many categories in the Business Directory and it is a bit confusing for users that just want to search the Business Directory. I would like to have the Events page work independently from the Business Directory Page and vice versa. I want each pages category to show for only that page. The other issue that I am running into I may be a bit confused on how to use Multiratings and how to add reviews. I have created all of my categories for “Multiratings” and they display great. But when I try to add them the submit button does not submit the form. I am also unable to submit comments. Currently, I use Smartforms. Is it required that I use Ninja Forms?

Here is an image of what I am referring to. Theater, Festival, and Concert are all Event categories. But this is the Directory page. The other issue is when I choose my ratings and try to add the review, the submit button does not work. I was using the GeoDirectory reCaptcha and thought this was the issue but I have turned this to invisible and then disabled the plugin and I still am unable to add a review or rating. Once clicking the submit button nothing happens. Does this have something to do with the form? I have not changed anything in regards to the form.

    Hello,

    About GD Categories

try editing the GD Archive template.
Change the GD Categories to have the option to filter for the current viewing post type.

You can do it that way, or create separate GD Archive templates, one for each CPT.

Use the shortcode builder to see all the GD Categories options to hide subcats or limit parent cats.

    About comments and ratings

I am not familiar with smart forms. GD uses WordPress comments functionality, adding features like ratings to that built in functionality. If you disable SmartForms do the comments work? We do not have an integration with Smart Forms.
