    It would be good if your support forum included a search feature as I’m sure this has been asked before but after several pages of looking I could not find anything. I also looked at every site in your showcase and could not find the answer there either.

    We are creating Business Directories for various cities in Ecuador. Similar to many of these types of directories on the internet, we need a fairly detailed category breakdown which will then require multi level menus. For example, our House Services primary category would then have a sub category of Trades and then Carpenters, Electricians and so on down. None of sites in your showcase have more than one level. Does the Custom Post Types add-in solve this issue?

    hi,

    1st of all there is a search option in this forum, it’s in the sidebar: GeoDirectory Forum Search.

    You can use sub-categories, no need for the custom post type add-on to use sub-categories for the default custom post type.

    For example you can have:

    Custom post type: Places
    Parent Category : Hotels
    Sub Categories : 5 Stars Hotel, 4 stars Hotel, 3stars Hotel, 2 stars Hotel, 1 star Hotel.
