Disable Events CPT

    Hi I had installedd Events addon and created a few test listings. However i have decided not to have events in the immediate future, so wanted to remove the Events CPT.
    As Events does not allow CPT delete, i deactivated the Events plugin. However Events still shows in admin menu as well as in the front end. How can i remove this? thanks.
